WHO wants to meet 1200 Techniques, Tiffani Wood and some world class skaters tomorrow?
Well you can't, unless your name is Sherrie Saunders, of Warabrook.
She is the winner of The Word's Channel [V] Musicbus Detour Tour competition.
When the cable TV's live tour hits Foreshore Park, Newcastle, tomorrow Sherrie and a friend will go backstage for a tour of the bus with presenters Jabba, James Mathiesen and Mike Kerry.
The pair will also get to meet Nfamas and the boys from 1200 Techniques, Newcastle-bred singer Tiffani Wood and radical skaters Jon Lorcan, John Dickenson and Russell Grundy.
Sherrie will also receive a Detour T-shirt, cap and CD. As will Stephanie Garrash, of Charlestown, and Jess Muldoon, of Raymond Terrace.
Detour's national run to regional and coastal cities and towns has been met by an average of 2000 punters at each show so far.
Noted as one of the biggest fixtures on the tour in the past few years, Newcastle will have to put in a huge effort to match the Gold Coast's crowd of 5000.
